Flash images repository

This is the repository of the ready-to-flash images for the FOX Board

Extract the prebuild images

When you download your ready to use fimage from the Flash images repository or from an article it is available in two type of compressed files:

  • ZIP file for the Windows users
    In this case use Winzip or other utility to decompress it and obtain the raw fimage file.

  • TGZ file for the Linux users
    In this case use this command to obtain the raw fimage file.
    tar -xvzf filename.tgz
    
    Linux user can extract the raw file also from the zip file using this command:
    unzip filename.zip
    
The file generated is the raw file to use in all the flashing methods.

Factory default images

  • FOX Board LX 832
    This image is the factory default image for the FOX Board LX. It has RTC DS1302 support enabled
    Kernel 2.6.15 and glibc.

  • FOX Board LX 816
    This image is the factory default image for the FOX Board LX 8+16. It has RTC DS1302 support enabled.
    Kernel 2.6.15 and glibc.

  • FOX Board LX 416
    This image is the factory default image for the FOX Board LX 4+16. It has RTC DS1302 support enabled.

  • FOX Board LX 832 for FOX VHDL board
    This image has framebuffer and foxbone support. It can flash the FOX VHDL board and has built in an application example of Klone for accessing the FoxBone.

  • FOX Board LX 816 for FOX VHDL board
    This image is generated with the SDK 1.0
    It has framebuffer and foxbone support. It can flash the FOX VHDL board and has built in an application example of Klone for accessing the FoxBone.

    This image is generated with the SDK 1.0 release 142.

    This image an image with PHP already installked.

  • FOX Board CLASSIC
    This image is generated with the John Crispin patch of the SDK 2.01 with improved USB support.
    It has FOX-VHDL and foxbone support. It can flash the FOX VHDL board and has built in an application example of Klone for accessing the FoxBone.

  • FOX Board CLASSIC
    This image is generated with the default configuration of Axis SDK 2.01

    This image is generated with the default configuration of Axis SDK 2.01 with the Real Time Clock RESET signal put on IOg0 so to work with the SX18 board (see Add a Dallas DS1302 I2C Real Time Clock)
